Real-World Alignment in Action
Our pilots are not just "projects"—they are targeted, real-world tests of the Pathfinder model. We use them to prove our "stack builds the stack" principle, demonstrating how our open-source tools can successfully align funding, talent, and partners to deliver concrete results.
Pathfinder Pilot: Funding Alignment
From the Ground Up!
In partnership with Together We Learn (UK) and the Amhara Development Association (Ethiopia)
This project is a powerful, real-world proof of the Pathfinder alignment model. Our partners at Together We Learn, a UK nonprofit with 20 years in Ethiopia, had secured $22,000 to build three new classrooms in Azezo. However, this wasn't enough to build with durable, long-lasting concrete materials.
The Alignment Multiplier
The project was stalled. Our role was to act as the alignment agent. We initiated a campaign to raise the remaining $14,000. This targeted action was the key:
- Our $14,000 campaign, combined with Together We Learn's $22,000, was the pre-requisite to...
- ...Unlock a $27,000 matching grant from a local Ethiopian NGO partner.
This "multiplier effect" successfully aligned three separate partners, fully funded the $63,000 project, and upgraded the classrooms to durable concrete.
