Real-World Alignment in Action
Every pilot we launch tests the Pathfinder model—a systems approach rooted in the IIASA SSP1 “Sustainability” pathway and aligned with the UN SDGs. Our work connects global frameworks to field-level impact, proving how data, funding, and human collaboration can operate as one coherent system.
From digital infrastructure to concrete classrooms, these pilots show that alignment is the missing infrastructure of sustainability.
Pathfinder Pilot: Funding Alignment
From the Ground Up
In partnership with Together We Learn (UK) and the Amhara Development Association (Ethiopia)
This initiative provided a tangible, on-site validation of the Pathfinder alignment model. Our partners at Together We Learn, a UK nonprofit with over 20 years of educational experience in Ethiopia, had raised $22,000 to build three new classrooms in Azezo. However, the funds were insufficient to use durable, long-lasting concrete — the preferred material for safety and resilience.
The Alignment Multiplier
TCUS stepped in as an alignment agent to close the gap. Through a focused $14,000 campaign, we unlocked a three-way cascade of impact:
- $22,000 — Raised by Together We Learn
- $14,000 — Raised by TCUS and our community
- $27,000 — Matched by the Amhara Development Association
Together, these contributions fully funded the $63,000 project, transforming temporary classrooms into permanent, concrete learning spaces that will serve hundreds of students for decades to come.
Pathfinder Pilot: Digital Alignment
Libelle Development — Live MVP
Libelle is the coordination engine behind our volunteer network—and the first operational proof that the stack builds the stack. We launched the MVP using the same distributed pod model it was designed to manage, and it now powers TCUS’s global volunteer operations.
How It Works
Contributors collaborate across Slack, GitHub, and the Libelle interface itself, which parses résumés, structures contributor data, and matches people with meaningful work. Every pod—from design to data governance—runs on the same ethical, open-source infrastructure we aim to scale.
Result: Libelle is live, operational, and growing. It’s onboarding new contributors and supporting development of the broader TCUS Superstack—a modular ecosystem for ethical alignment.

The Path Ahead
Scaling Alignment for a Livable Future
Each TCUS pilot — from classrooms in Ethiopia to open-source coordination tools — is a working fragment of a single, global system. Together they form a growing field test of ethical infrastructure: a framework that aligns capital, governance, and human capacity toward shared sustainability outcomes.
This is not aid as usual — it’s systems alignment in motion. By translating the principles behind the IIASA SSP1 “Sustainability” pathway into operational reality, we are building the connective tissue of a livable world: distributed, transparent, and human-centered. Every aligned action strengthens the collective ability to steer within planetary boundaries while advancing equity and opportunity.
The Chamber of Us exists to prove that coordination itself can be a form of climate action — that the way we build, fund, and organize determines whether humanity converges on the livable future or fragments along the paths of collapse. Each pilot is a node in that proof.
The Path to Alignment
These pilots form the first nodes of a growing alignment network — connecting people, data, and capital toward sustainable systems change. Each proof strengthens the foundation for the next, accelerating progress toward the IIASA SSP1 “Sustainability” pathway: a livable, equitable future built on cooperation and human capacity.
